History and Sociology Assistant Professor Allen Hyde writes in the Atlanta Studies online journal about an oral history project conducted in 2018 in his Urban Sociology classes (HTS 3012). Students in these classes interviewed residents of Grove Park about changes in their neighborhood and their hopes and concerns for the future of the area.  The interviews have been uploaded to the StoryCorps App and are archived at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.  Urban Sociology is an SLS Affiliated Course and is part of our Linked Courses Signature Program under the Equitable and Sustainable Development theme.
