As part of a multidisciplinary research and teaching team in the Biomedical Engineering department, Dr. Newstetter is working to develop new educational models for highly technical courses that will offer a more inclusive learning environment for all students.  These efforts are funded through the NSF Revolutionizing Engineering Education (RED) program and the team seeks partners across the institution who, like them, want all GT students to feel connected and respected on campus, in classes and in GT research labs.
