Dr. Keskinocak is the co-founder and Director, Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems (CHHS), with activities in education, outreach, and innovative projects and research. Among the educational activities of CHHS is the professional education certificate program in Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain Management. The center organizes the annual Health and Humanitarian Logistics Conference, which has traveled to multiple countries and continents around the world. Dr. Keskinocak’s recent work has addressed infectious disease modeling, evaluating intervention strategies, and resource allocation; catch-up scheduling for vaccinations; hospital operations management; disaster preparedness and response (e.g., prepositioning inventory and post-disaster debris management). She has worked on projects with companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and healthcare providers, including American Red Cross, CARE, CDC, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory University, Carter Center, and the Task Force for Global Health.
