This spring, SLS launched its Global Student Ambassador Program, partnering with six Summer 2017 Study Abroad programs at Georgia Tech: France LBATGermany LBATSpain LBATLeadership for Social Good (Eastern Europe)Design Develop Build Program (Ghana), Japan Summer Program in Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Transportation Abroad (Netherlands).  The Global Student Ambassador Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to meet each other and learn cross cultural perspectives on sustainable communities and share their experiences with other students.

As part of sharing those experiences, we are pleased to provide blog posts from Nikita Samant and Anna Hightower, SLS Global Student Ambassadors with the Leadership for Social Good (Eastern Europe) program, along with two of their classmates, Maggie Royal and Madison Ward.  The Leadership for Social Good Study Abroad Program offers students the opportunity to gain insight into global civil society, learn about the challenges of creating and leading effective and sustainable social enterprises, and make a positive impact by working closely with a non-profit organization in Budapest, Hungary. These posts are the first in a series from the 2017 SLS Global Student Ambassadors across all six affiliated programs. We hope you enjoy them!
