Georgia Tech’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) will welcome Michael Page as a new director of Information Technology II on Monday, Feb. 7.

In his new role, Page will lead the planning and implementation of technology projects and initiatives that directly support Tech’s Student Engagement & Well-Being office. Page will also promote IT service management and operational best practices to ensure service quality and continuity of operations, and foster ongoing dialogue and collaboration among OIT and distributed IT professionals to achieve alignment, development, and growth. He will report to Maria Hunter, interim executive director for OIT’s Digital Business team.

Page joins OIT with more than 25 years of IT experience. He most recently served as director of planning and engagement for the University of Central Oklahoma, where he managed the university’s IT governance, project management, communications, and business relationship management functions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Ithaca College, a Master of Arts in Stage Direction from American University, and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Oklahoma State University.
