This panel is co-hosted by Georgians for Justice and Georgia Equality and will feature journalist Jessica Pishko, two formerly incarcerated trans people, and Roland Washington, the president of the National Incarceration Association. The panel will focus on trans inmate rights and ongoing mistreatment in Georgia jails and prisons and the panelists will more broadly discuss jail and prison reform and LGBTQ-bias training for law enforcement officers.
